Like my boy T.O. says “Get your Popcorn Ready” cause the 2011 Summer movie season is about to begin this friday and MoFosInCharge.Com has the recommendation guide of the must see movies you got to check out this summer.

The Summer Movies actually kick off this friday, but somehow “Fast Five” got included in the festivities and they started the summer season off with a bang and their numbers. This summer sees a shit load of sequels (Transformers 3, Cars 2, etc…) and along with comic book adaptation movies (Thor, X-Men). Below are the movies we recommend and a few details about each one of them and then you can thank us after, Hopefully

“Thor” May 06

IMDB: The powerful but arrogant warrior Thor is cast out of the fantastic realm of Asgard and sent to live amongst humans on Earth, where he soon becomes one of their finest defenders.

MFIC Input: “The God of Thunder”. Real excited for this movie and cant wait for it till it comes out this friday. The movie looks bad ass from top to bottom including the actors in it, I’m just hoping it’s not all hype and that the movie is good. The only thing that is bugging me about Thor is that it is rated PG-13,WTF!

“Kung Fu Panda 2” May 26

IMDB: Po joins forces with a group of new kung-fu masters to take on an old enemy with a deadly new weapon.

MFIC Input: Hellz yeah I want to watch that fighting panda again, I just hope it can live up to the original and not lose any of it’s comedy that Po had.

“The Hangover 2” May 26

IMDB: Phil, Stu, and Alan travel to Bangkok for Stu’s wedding only to find themselves in another post-blackout misadventure.

MFIC Input: There’s no doubt I’m gonna be watching this movie in theaters, it doesn’t matter if it’s not funnier than the first one. Im still a part of the Wolfpack!! Do I need to say more.

“X-Men: First Class” June 03

IMDB: In 1963, Charles Xavier starts up a school and later a team, for humans with superhuman abilities. Among them is Erik Lensherr, his best friend… and future archenemy.

MFIC Input: Looks interesting just to see how everything got started and especially a must see if you were a fan of the first two X-men movies (I’m not counting the “X-men: The Last Stand” or the wolverine movie)

“Super 8” June 10

IMDB: After witnessing a mysterious train crash, a group of friends in the summer of 1979 begin noticing strange happenings going around in their small town, and begin to investigate into the strange phenomenon.

MFIC Input: If you haven’t heard of Super 8, then you better check out the trailer below and see what it is about. Out of all the movies that are coming out this summer, Super 8 is on the top of my list cause of all the good things it has going for it. The mystery behind the train crash, Cloverfield, Star Trek, and Lost Director JJ Abrams is directing and because we still don’t know what the hell the monster or whatever it is looks like….Damn you JJ.Abrams.

“Cars 2” June 24

IMDB: Racing star Lightning McQueen teams up with his best friend Mater for an international adventure as they go up against the world’s fastest cars.

MFIC Input: Pixar movies have never steered me wrong yet and the original Cars was pretty good, so Cars and Pixar are a good combination for summer movies.

“Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon” July 01

IMDB: The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and learn its secrets, which could turn the tide in the Transformers’ final battle.

MFIC Input: Ok so im a bit hesitant about recommending this movie especially because the second one (Transformer 2: Revenge of the Fallen) sucked major you know what, the newest trailer below did looked bad ass but you never know with Transformers. It does look like it’s gonna be the best out of the three but again you never know with Transformers. Basically what I’m saying, if you have nothing to do, got a little extra dough MAYBE check it out, even then. Go with Caution.

“Captain America: The First Avenger” July 22

IMDB: After being deemed unfit for military service, Steve Rogers volunteers for a top secret research project that turns him into Captain America, a superhero dedicated to defending America’s ideals.

MFIC Input: Along with Thor, Captain America also is in my hype machine and can not wait till this movie does comes out, it also helps because Captain America will be the first Avenger recruited for the Avenger Initiative. Trust me it’s gonna be good!!

“Cowboys and Aliens” July 29

IMDB: A spaceship arrives in Arizona, 1873, to take over the Earth, starting with the Wild West region. A posse of cowboys are all that stand in their way.

MFIC Input: A couple of weeks back I did go on this very website in support of this movie CLICK HERE to see the details and I still back up on what I said on that very post and still want to see this movie kick ass.

“30 Minutes or Less” August 12

IMDB: Two fledgling criminals kidnap a pizza delivery driver and force him to rob a bank within 30 minutes.

MFIC Input: Definitely looks like something to check out, just because of who’s in it. Aziz Ansari, Danny Mcbride, Nick Swardson and Jesse Eisenberg. A comedy that just might be as funny as the Hangover…ok maybe not, but still a movie that looks very promising to check out and laugh.

TIDBIT: We understand theres a lot more movies in the summer, but these are some of the movies that should stand out this summer and ones that we highly recommend and that will be worth your money.
